5/14 Fri – We hiked from our villa in Vertine to Castello San Donato in Perano,

then on to Poggianso, Vistarenni and Lucarelli, and finally back to Vertine.

After lunch, we hiked down the other side of Vertine, then came back

and spent some time in our private garden, reading.

It rained in the early afternoon, but later it was sunny although a little hazy.

We actually took a lot of pictures today but the gray skies and misty air,

as well as rain, were not friendly to our camera lens, But we enjoyed the hike.
