5/21 Fri – There are black clouds everywhere, this morning.

We checked out a small village, Tordibella. So many towns and villages

will be working for many years to restore buildings damaged by the earthquake of 1997.

Wherever we go around here, we see major restoration.

We finally decided not to worry about the BLACK clouds and hiked to the top of Mt. Subasio.

The hike took us through forests and up to a green pasture.

There was only a little rain but >30 MPH winds at the top!

We came down through Assisi and enjoyed a gelato for our last day here.

We watched a great sunset from the villa.
