Sevilla (Seville in English) is just a fun and beautiful city. To be out at night among
the city’s relaxed, fun-loving crowds – in the tapas bars, on the streets,
in the clubs and discos – is an experience you won’t forget.
The streets and squares in the historic quarter of the capital of Andalusia are lively and busy.
Our hotel (El Rey Moro Boutique Hotel) is located in a delightful area of Sevilla,
in the picturesque and authentic district of Santa Cruz.
This hotel occupies a renovated manor house of the 16th century.
The area of Santa Cruz is a charming part of the city, with narrow cobbled streets
and squares dotted with orange trees.
The city is beautiful no matter where you look. The old buildings
have been kept up to date and are a variety of colors.
It has more narrow, winding, medieval lanes and romantic, hidden plazas than you can imagine.
We're vegetarians, but we managed to find great food everywhere. Our favorites
were the veggie tapas, vegetable paella, and couscous.
We easily walked twelve miles a day up and down streets and across plazas.
Even if you purchase nothing, strolling through the shops is a must.
They are fun, colorful, and full of great wares. The pottery and tiles are fantastic!
Sevilla is very religious, of course, and the statuary around town is exquisite
Of course, a Flamenco show is definitely worth seeing!
