6/18 – It rained, no, poured all day today! We followed a rushing river with cascading falls
up to the Col de Bonhomme. We jumped from rock to rock (if we were lucky), to cross the river
from time to time. Often, we just stuck our boots in the water and got wet. At lunch,
we spent quite a long time around the heater, trying to get warm, and drying our clothes.
Our destination today was Les Chapieux, France.
ABOVE - It's fitting that we should start the day with such a beautiful, unknown flower.
ABOVE - We're talkin' wind and rain
ABOVE - Everyone took turns at the heater
Oh yes, the rain is what helps produce these wonderful wildflowers!
