Today we cycled from Benešov Czech Republic to Průhonice.
We followed the Vltava River to Prague
Lots of wildflowers along the river
BELOW - On the site of today‘s castle, a fortress was built in the early 15th century.
After the 30 year war, it was rebuilt as a castle with a garden. Remaining from the original
fortress there are 3 jewel rooms on the ground floor. Castle Park with greenhouses
was established with the great baroque reconstruction of the Štiřín castle .
